On this week’s episode of News & Views, sponsored by Vanta, The Fintech Times Podcast team speak about some predictions for the world of fintech in 2025.
Everyone was back and raring to go in 2025 as Polly, Francis and Tom were all in attendance this week exploring some of the most interesting predictions for 2025 from our View From the Top series, as well as sharing some of their own thoughts.
Tom kicked off the conversation by discussing personalisation and how it has developed over the past year. Using some points provided by experts in the article, he noted how personalisation is crucial in the banking sector, but incumbents need to work with fintechs in order to keep up with customer demands.
Following this, Polly introduced the topic of crypto and blockchain adoption, revealing that politics, especially in the US, are likely going to have a big impact on the sector according to industry experts. She analysed how politicians’ views on crypto might create hype for the industry and in turn increase adoption.
Lastly, Francis spoke about mergers and acquisitions. He spotlighted some views that pointed out that economies across the globe were stabilising, creating an environment where organisations are more likely to take risks and work with new organisations.
