Napier AI, the AI-powered financial crime compliance solution provider, has secured a majority growth investment from global investment firm Marlin Equity Partners, enabling it to support its go-to-market expansion globally.
Napier AI, which uses data science principles to equip financially regulated firms with compliance-first AI to stay ahead of sophisticated financial crime threats, hopes to further advance its market position through ongoing research and development and support its go-to-market expansion globally.
Founded in London in 2015, Napier AI has established a strong position in financial compliance, with its Continuum platform trusted by over 100 institutions worldwide, including HSBC, State Street, Mizuho Trust & Banking, Starling Bank, and ClearBank.
As AI adoption continues to grow at a seemingly exponential rate across industries, this trend appears no different in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing. The investment from Marlin marks a growth phase for the company, focused on advancing AI technologies, enhancing financial crime detection, and prioritising customer-centric regional tech hubs.
