Temenos and Bahwan CyberTek Partner to Develop Country Model Banks in Seven Asian Countries

Temenos partners with Bahwan CyberTek to bring localised, ready-to-use banking solutions to seven Asian countries, speeding up digital transformation for financial institutions.

The agreement will see BCT develop and market Temenos’ Country Model Banks in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Cambodia, the Philippines and Taiwan. By using cloud-native technology, the partnership aims to help financial institutions deploy new banking services faster, reduce costs, and lower risks.

Scaling digital banking across Asia

Temenos designs its Country Model Banks to offer pre-configured, localised functionality tailored to meet the regulatory and operational needs of each country. This approach allows financial institutions to launch new services more quickly and efficiently by minimising the complexity of implementation. Through this partnership, banks can benefit from built-in compliance and ready-to-use functionality that accelerates the go-live process.

William Moroney, chief revenue officer at Temenos, explained the value of the collaboration: “By leveraging the expertise and resources of both companies, this collaboration will enable financial institutions in these markets to deliver innovative and customer-centric banking experiences with greater agility and speed to market while also reducing cost and risk.”

BCT input

With a team of more than 4,500 consultants and product engineers, Bahwan CyberTek will support the development of localised features to further enhance Temenos’ Country Model Banks for the seven countries involved. In addition to helping financial institutions implement these solutions, BCT has been appointed as Temenos’ preferred upgrade partner in the region, ensuring that banks can easily access the latest technology and services.
